Description

On this 10 hour guided nature tour our guides take you on a hike in which you get to enjoy La Fortuna´s most spectaculair scenery. You get to know the rain forest at the foot of the Arenal Volcano, see and learn about wildlife and flora, hike through fields of big lava rocks, climb up to the highest scenic viewpoint to see the Arenal and its spectacular surroundings. Go to the Observatory park for a light hike through tropical gardens, pass two hanging bridges, go through more forest to visit a waterfall, learn about the volcano in a museum, see the sun set over the Volcano and Arenal lake from a panoramic observatory deck and go to a hotwater river at night to enjoy a drink and a volcanic mud facial.
ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productExperience the real rainforest. On these ruggred trails you will pass huge trees, twisted vines and get the chance to see animals in their original habitat. Leaving the forest we pass a green lake and a cemetary of the people that got surprised by the 1968 mega erupution. Fom here we climb the wall of lava rocks and make our way through the lava fields that lay under Arenals shadow. At the highest point you have the volcanos cone right in front of you and you can enjoy an amazing 360view. Going down we pass more forest increasing our chances to see wildlife.
